SALINE COUNTY, Kan. — Relay For Life of Saline County is thrilled to announce the outstanding results of the 2024 Relay for Life season. The annual walk took place on Saturday, June 22nd at Kansas Wesleyan University. This year, our community came together in an extraordinary display of solidarity and hope, helping us surpass our goal by raising $50,158 to fund critical cancer research and support services.

The volunteer-led event featured a variety of engaging activities, including live music, guest speakers, survivor celebration led by bagpipes, performances by local dance and twirling troupes, a silent auction, a dessert bar for cancer survivors and caregivers, and a moving luminaria ceremony, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy while raising awareness about cancer prevention and support.

Attendees will learn how they can get involved, register for Relay, form a team, learn about new fundraisers, and participate in door prize drawings. We will have tasty goodies to share and reveal the 2025 event theme.

This year’s kickoff is a chance for all of us to come together, celebrate the progress we’ve made, and recommit ourselves to the fight against cancer.

Kickoff is open to everyone in Saline County and surrounding areas.
